Explore the wizarding world: Leadenhall Market and more
After refreshments, it's time to walk back through Two Eyes’ iconic front door to delve into the magical side of London. In addition to serving as the exterior for the Leaky Cauldron in The Philosopher’s Stone, Leadenhall Market’s beautiful Victorian architecture is worth exploring on its own and for Harry Potter fans, it’s a thrill to stand where Hagrid and Harry walked as they made their way to Diagon Alley.
From Leadenhall Market, you can take a short tube ride to other famous Harry Potter locations.
Head to King’s Cross Station to look for Platform 9 ¾, maybe snap a photo with the iconic luggage cart disappearing into the wall. Don’t forget to stop by the official Harry Potter shop for some unique souvenirs.
For those wanting to explore even more, St Pancras Station, just across the road from King’s Cross, is another great stop. The clock tower at the station was prominently featured in the films, and the exterior was used in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets when Harry and Ron took flight in the Ford Anglia.
Continue your magical journey by visiting Great Scotland Yard, the entrance to the Ministry of Magic. While the actual building is a government office, it’s still a thrill to see the location where many pivotal scenes took place.
Next, take a stroll across Lambeth Bridge, which was used in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban when the Knight Bus squeezed between two double-decker buses. It’s a fun spot to imagine the wild ride that Harry experienced on his way back to the wizarding world.
If time permits, make your way to the London Zoo, where Harry first discovered his ability to speak to snakes in The Philosopher’s Stone. The Reptile House is still there, and it’s a fascinating place to visit, whether you’re a fan of the films or just love animals.
